Rose Hips Seed Oil-(rosa musquee): Packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Not only is it moisturizing, but it contains Oil Soluble vitamin C, which is why it is so good at helping the integrity of the skin, but also helps greatly with scars, especially acne related scars. Rose Hips has some of the highest levels of vitamin C which penetrates deeply in the skin as it is in an oil form. It also contains anti-inflammatory properties as well as vitamin A. It is also high in GLA, gamma linoleic Acid, an omega fatty acid that protects the skin barrier. The main bioactive component is all trans-retinoic acid, a precursor to vitamin A. the high amount of this, tretinoin, is responsible for making this oil especially good at repairing depleted and scarred tissue.
Lavender oil-(lavendula agustifolia): One of the more famous essential oils known to calm irritated skin and relieving stress. It also has antiseptic properties, not only helping to preserve the cream, but also helps to disinfect the skin from bacteria, viruses, and fungus. That is why it is excellent for trouble skin areas like rosacea and acne. It is also known to lighten hyperpigmented skin.
Helichrysum (helichrysum italicum): The main chemical components–neryl acetate, alpha pinene, y-curcumene are soothing to the skin, have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It helps with skin imperfections and calming down blemishes. Known as the everlasting or Immortal flower, it targets fine lines and wrinkles. Also, it is great for skin that has received too much sun.
Carrot seed—(daucus carota): Known as Wild carrot or Queen Anne’s Lace, it has too many active ingredients to list, but the main ones are the carotene and vitamin A. It has extreme antioxidant effects, helps infections of the skin, and tonifies the skin.
